created by yours truly many years ago (1990) in response
to the conundrum of The Big Bang...
i had been thinking that The Big Bang must have been an orgasm of cosmic proportions
(surely not a particularly original thought) and decided it was time to manifest an artful representation
of both the cosmic, and personal, orgasmic experience.... it started with a mask i created for a show
in Portland Oregon at The Greystone Gallery; the mask, titled "Prof. Orgasmo", a mixed medium mask
measuring 27"w x 40"h, as the force behind The Big Bang.... it dawned on me that small individual "ORGASMS" were also in order.... each painstakingly hand crafted of mixed mediums, creating
a delicate, unique artful representation of the orgasmic experience...
over time they have been on display and sold in many galleries, exhibits and shows, tho i no longer
create them, having used up my orgasmic energy (twirling wires, stringing beads, etc. etc.) long ago..
i created the original "ORGASM" (pictured above) as well as "ORGASM ON A STICK",
"FAKE ORGASM" (i could never really tell the difference!), "MULTIPLE ORGASMS"
and others.... i also created the large "BIG BANG ORGASM" pictured below..
yes, the universe is a very sexy thing.
